Alphabet's Q3 2026 earnings reveal 25% revenue growth, with Google Cloud doubling revenue and AI models like Gemini 4 driving innovation and user engagement, including the fastest-growing Gemini app and expanded agentic AI capabilities across platforms.

Alphabet reported a strong performance in the third quarter of 2026, with year-over-year revenue increasing by 25% to reach a half-trillion-dollar annual run rate. CEO Sundar Pichai emphasized the company’s "full-stack" approach that integrates AI deeply across its products, fueling momentum across sectors.

Google Search showed robust usage gains, with a five-year-high increase in query volumes partly attributed to new AI capabilities boosting commercial user activity. Users are engaging with longer, personalized, and multimodal queries, including voice and images, with visual searches exceeding 50 billion per month globally.

Google Cloud posted an impressive 103% revenue increase, driven by demand for AI infrastructure and solutions. Pichai noted widespread customer adoption of Tensor Processing Unit (TPU) systems and expanding capacity to meet long-term growth. Cloud customers rely heavily on advanced AI models such as the new Gemini 4 series.

The Gemini 4 AI model lineup, featuring the recently launched Argon and newly announced Carbon variants, is achieving significant developer interest and application. Argon is highly effective in complex domains like finance, legal, cybersecurity, and scientific research, accelerating tasks such as code optimization within Google’s own teams. Carbon, currently in limited release to trusted cybersecurity partners including the U.S. government, leads performance benchmarks and supports advanced domains like full-stack development and multimodal understanding.

Additionally, the Genie 4 model was introduced as a cutting-edge simulation engine for creating realistic interactive environments with native audio, intended for robotics and agent training.

The Gemini app has surpassed one billion users, becoming Google’s fastest-growing product, with users conducting increasingly complex, multi-step tasks aided by agent-based AI. These agentic capabilities are being extended across Search, Chrome, Android, and Workspace to provide seamless, secure assistance with activities such as booking, scheduling, and purchases.

On YouTube, Alphabet reported subscriber growth for YouTube Music and Premium, now exceeding 150 million globally. The platform remains the top U.S. streaming service by watch time and continues to innovate with new creator and viewer features like topic-based custom feeds.

Alphabet’s long-term bets also showed progress: Waymo logged over 300 million autonomous miles and expanded services across multiple U.S. cities and internationally. Other initiatives include leveraging Argon for drug research, breakthroughs in quantum computing called “magic state cultivation,” and deploying TPUs in space with Project Suncatcher.

Overall, Alphabet conveyed confidence in sustained AI-driven growth and innovation across its consumer products, cloud services, and emerging technologies for the coming years.
