Google introduces Fitbit Edge, a durable and stylish fitness tracker featuring a bright Hybrid OLED screen, tactile side button, recycled aluminum chassis, and customizable bands.

On October 27, 2026, Google revealed its latest fitness wearable, the Fitbit Edge, designed to blend performance, comfort, and style for active users. The new tracker features a bright Hybrid OLED display that offers high contrast and easy readability even in bright outdoor conditions. This is enhanced by a redesigned user interface that organizes information into glanceable tiles and expressive clock faces, making key health and fitness stats accessible at a quick look.

To improve user interaction during workouts, Fitbit Edge includes a tactile physical side button in addition to its responsive touchscreen. This ergonomic button enables effortless control even in challenging scenarios such as sweaty hands or wet weather, allowing users to pause or adjust tracking without hassle.

The Fitbit Edge boasts a curved chassis crafted from 100% recycled aluminum, designed to fit the natural anatomy of the wrist. This curvature reduces pressure points, ensures continuous contact for accurate heart-rate and sleep monitoring, and provides durability for everyday use. It is water- and dust-resistant, ready to endure active lifestyles.

Battery life extends up to seven days, minimizing the need for frequent charging. The device is available in four distinct finishes—Obsidian, Olive, Canyon, and Fog—and pairs with a collection of newly designed interchangeable bands. These bands include the breathable Active Sport Band, micro-adjustable Performance Loop Band, minimalist Magnet Band, and classic Metal Link Band—each catering to different style preferences and workout demands.

With Fitbit Edge, Google aims to set a new standard for fitness trackers by balancing aesthetic appeal with practical enhancements tailored for continuous use. The product is currently available for purchase through the Google Store, providing users with options to customize their wearable to both their fitness routine and daily style.
