Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 debuts on NVIDIA's GeForce NOW cloud gaming service, featuring a new campaign, multiplayer, and DMZ mode. Ultimate members can experience enhanced ray tracing powered by GeForce RTX 5080-class performance across multiple devices.
NVIDIA announced that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is now available on its GeForce NOW cloud gaming platform coinciding with the game's official launch. GeForce NOW users can engage in the game's fresh campaign, multiplayer matches, and the high-intensity DMZ extraction mode on supported devices without the need for local downloads or installs.
The single-player campaign takes players through diverse locations including Korea, New York, Paris, Mumbai, and city-wide combat zones. Players follow the story of Private Park, a South Korean soldier encountering his first combat experience, and Captain Price, a rogue operator seeking vengeance through covert operations.
Multiplayer mode features precise combat mechanics and fluid player movement across a dozen 6v6 maps influenced by the ongoing global conflict represented in the campaign. The DMZ mode challenges players to infiltrate contested areas, retrieve valuable technology, and decide when to extract safely, with dynamics involving looting, fighting, negotiating, and betrayal.
For GeForce NOW Ultimate members, the campaign benefits from enhanced visual fidelity through ray tracing effects powered by the service’s newly added GeForce RTX 5080-class performance. This upgrade delivers high-end gaming visuals streamed to PCs, Macs, handheld devices, browsers, supported TVs, and more.
Additionally, to expand accessibility, GeForce NOW now supports in-app membership purchases directly on supported Amazon Fire TV Stick devices, allowing users to subscribe via Amazon's billing and stream PC games to their TVs efficiently.
This release is part of a larger update including other new games like Square Enix’s FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE and The Elder Scrolls Online’s Echoes of Skyrim Season, all accessible on the cloud platform without traditional game installation steps. GeForce NOW offers thousands of games from various digital stores, combining convenience with powerful cloud computing.
