TES IV: Oblivion enthusiasts created a geo-location guessing game featuring nearly 21,000 panoramic images of Tamriel's central province, Cyrodiil. Players guess locations using surroundings like trees and the White-Gold Tower, visible from almost anywhere in Cyrodiil.

Fans of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion have developed a unique geographical guessing game inspired by the fictional world of Tamriel. This online game includes almost 21,000 panoramic screenshots taken from Oblivion's depiction of Cyrodiil, the central imperial province of Tamriel. Using these images, players receive one attempt to identify their exact in-game location by observing environmental cues such as nearby trees, road signs, and notably the White-Gold Tower, a prominent landmark visible from nearly all corners of Cyrodiil.

Because the Oblivion game world uses many similar textures and assets, the Tamriel geo-guessing game places players primarily near major points of interest such as bridges, caves, villages, or Daedric shrines to enhance distinctive location identification. The web platform hosting this game currently features no advertisements and does not require user registration, making it accessible and user-friendly.

Besides Cyrodiil, the game also includes a version set in Morrowind, another key province in The Elder Scrolls universe. However, the developers have not yet prepared a map for Skyrim, the northern province of Tamriel, leaving room for future expansion.
