Samsung Electronics showcased region-specific AI home appliances tailored to local lifestyles and needs across five global regions during its "The Brief" series, highlighting innovations that simplify chores, enhance energy efficiency, and offer personalized experiences.
Samsung Electronics has showcased its advancements in AI-powered home appliances through "The Brief," a series of technology seminars held in five key regions worldwide: the United States, Europe, Latin America, Southwest Asia, and Southeast Asia. These events presented AI appliance solutions tailored to the unique living environments and consumer demands of each region, illustrating how Samsung is customizing its smart home technologies for global audiences.
In the United States, "The Brief New York" focused on convenience and ease of household management through AI-enhanced kitchen appliances. Samsung demonstrated the Bespoke AI Refrigerator Family Hub integrating "AI Vision," which recognizes food items and container labels to automatically update users’ food lists. Additionally, the Bespoke AI Oven’s "AI Pro Cooking" feature uses an internal camera to detect ingredients, recommend ideal cooking settings, and monitor food color changes, reducing cooking complexity.
Europe's event in Milan emphasized energy efficiency, vital to European consumers. Products like the Bespoke AI Washer reduce energy use by 65% beyond Europe's Class A energy efficiency benchmark, while the Bespoke AI Dishwasher offers up to 20% additional savings. Samsung highlighted a suite of built-in appliances engineered for high efficiency and precise temperature control to minimize energy consumption.
Latin American events in São Paulo and Mexico City demonstrated the cohesive SmartThings ecosystem that connects multiple home appliances. SmartThings enables users to monitor and control refrigerators, washers, and air conditioners from a single platform, bringing unified AI home convenience tailored specifically to local lifestyles.
In Southwest Asia, particularly at the Gurugram event in India, Samsung focused on personalized comfort and family care. The Bespoke AI WindFree Pro Air Conditioner incorporates "Motion Wind" technology and integrates with Galaxy wearable devices to adjust cooling based on sleep stages and body temperature. Features like "Now Brief" and "Family Care" on the Bespoke AI Refrigerator offer personalized information and monitor household device usage to support family well-being.
Finally, in Southeast Asia at Hanoi, Samsung expanded its portfolio to include both residential and commercial solutions. Showcasing its HVAC offerings and previewing the 2027 AI-enabled air conditioner lineup featuring "AI Energy Mode," the company demonstrated applications across schools, hotels, and business facilities. Samsung also presented its approach to long-term product care through software updates for up to seven years and the "Home Appliance Remote Management (HRM)" service that remotely diagnoses and assists users.
Throughout all regions, Samsung stressed that its AI appliances act as "Home Companions," aiming to alleviate household burdens, optimize energy consumption, and support everyday family needs. Samsung plans to continue evolving its AI appliance lineup and services to reflect regional nuances, reinforcing its competitiveness in the global AI home market.
