NVIDIA has launched DLSS 4.5 controls on GeForce NOW, enhancing image quality and performance customization for cloud gaming across multiple platforms without requiring new hardware.
NVIDIA has rolled out new DLSS 4.5 controls for its GeForce NOW cloud gaming service, offering members greater flexibility in optimizing visual quality and responsiveness during gameplay. These controls allow players to fine-tune settings such as DLSS Super Resolution, Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, and Ray Reconstruction, enhancing image sharpness, reducing latency, and improving ray-traced effects respectively. This update is designed to work without needing the latest local hardware, broadening access to advanced graphics technologies for a wider user base.
Ultimate tier members streaming via GeForce RTX 5080-powered cloud rigs gain access to the most advanced options, including Dynamic Multi Frame Generation with up to 4X capability. Supported games such as "007 First Light"—now featuring path tracing—"CONTROL Resonant," and "Resident Evil Requiem" benefit from these enhancements, enabling players to prioritize either image quality or gameplay smoothness.
These features are available in the GeForce NOW app across Windows, macOS, Chrome OS, and Steam OS platforms via the settings menu. NVIDIA provides guidance on usage according to membership tiers to ensure optimal streaming experiences.
In addition to DLSS 4.5 controls, GeForce NOW has added ten new games, including the fully released cooperative survival RPG "Enshrouded 1.0," which arrives from early access, and the fast-paced indie shooter "Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2." Both titles stream without requiring local installs, freeing up storage and skipping lengthy downloads.
Enshrouded 1.0 expands its combat systems with new spells, skills, and enemies within a perilous world affected by a corrupting fog. "Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2" continues its retro-inspired gameplay with multiple characters and new biomes, launching directly on GeForce NOW for immediate cloud play.
Other recent GeForce NOW additions include "Deep Dish Dungeon," "Planet Zoo 2," "Total War: SHOGUN 2 – Complete Edition," and the remastered Xbox release of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt."
Moreover, NVIDIA reports a 2X performance improvement in DLSS 5's 3D-Guided Neural Rendering model, debuting in "NBA 2K27" on GeForce NOW and compatible RTX hardware on October 16, 2026. This advancement further enhances the visual fidelity of streamed content at higher frame rates.
New users can explore these enhancements with a day pass, which can be credited toward a monthly membership, facilitating access to high-performance cloud gaming with the latest technologies and titles. NVIDIA continues to update its game library regularly, with availability subject to onboarding schedules following official store releases.
