NVIDIA unveils RTX Spark, a powerful PC platform combining gaming, creative applications, and AI capabilities in one superchip with up to 128GB unified memory and 1 petaflop AI compute. Launching October 16 with broad software and hardware ecosystem support.
NVIDIA has introduced RTX Spark, a new PC superchip platform that redefines personal computing by integrating high-performance gaming, creative content creation, and advanced local AI capabilities into a single device. Equipped with up to 128GB of unified memory and delivering 1 petaflop of AI computational power, RTX Spark is designed for creators, developers, and gamers seeking a versatile machine that excels across multiple demanding tasks.
RTX Spark laptops become available on October 16, 2026, with NVIDIA and its partners simultaneously rolling out software updates and optimizations tailored to unlock the full potential of local AI agents on this platform. The launch features thousands of compatible apps, games, and AI models, supported by new tools enhancing local AI agent setup, security, and hybrid AI routing between local and cloud models.
Significant updates include the release of the NVIDIA Nemotron 3.5 Bolt 74B model, optimized for agentic AI workloads on RTX Spark, and the official release of NVIDIA PAIR—an open-source personal AI router that distributes AI workloads across compatible devices on local networks. Integration with Microsoft Execution Containers and NVIDIA OpenShell introduces advanced security and credential protection for local AI applications.
Creative professionals benefit from collaborations between NVIDIA and Adobe, which have rearchitected Photoshop and Premiere to leverage GPU-accelerated compositing and rendering on RTX Spark, promising up to double the performance in selected tasks. NVIDIA Broadcast 2.3 introduces new AI video enhancement features, including video super resolution and frame generation, while RTX Video capabilities are integrated into UI frameworks like ComfyUI and upcoming Blender releases.
For developers, RTX Spark supports key frameworks such as PyTorch, CUDA, and Python with native optimizations and includes agentic coding assistants like GitHub Copilot and Pi. The platform further broadens AI development with decision model support in llama.cpp and a new Windows app easing local model management.
Gamers gain access to hundreds of titles optimized for RTX Spark, benefiting from the latest NVIDIA RTX technologies, including the newly introduced DLSS 5 with 3D-Guided Neural Rendering. This delivers enhanced frame rates and visual fidelity across popular games such as NBA 2K27 and Cyberpunk 2077. The platform also supports AI-driven game agents like Nemotron 3.5 Bolt E4B, enhancing in-game experiences with responsive, voice-enabled companions.
Additionally, NVIDIA RTX Remix, a modular tool for modding games with ray tracing and AI-generated textures, has been updated for better integration with RTX Spark, simplifying asset creation workflows.
Overall, NVIDIA RTX Spark represents a convergence of gaming, creative software, and AI capabilities, setting a new standard for PC performance and functionality in a compact, power-efficient form factor, supported by a robust ecosystem of hardware and software partners.
