For World Teachers’ Day 2026, Google spotlights educators sharing how they use technology in classrooms to enhance learning, partnering with TED to invite innovative teachers to present ideas globally.

On World Teachers’ Day 2026, Google is celebrating educators worldwide by highlighting their stories of integrating technology into teaching. Through a dedicated collection, teachers share firsthand accounts of how they face daily challenges and create engaging learning experiences using various digital tools. These educators leverage technology to clarify complex subjects, design captivating lessons, and foster critical thinking among students.

Google emphasizes that while technology supports education, it does not replace the vital role teachers play in mentoring and inspiring learners to achieve their best. To further honor these contributions, Google has partnered with TED to launch a global idea search aimed at educators innovating with technology.

This initiative encourages teachers to submit their visionary ideas about the future of education. Selected educators with the most compelling concepts will be invited to share their perspectives from the TED stage, promoting a wider global conversation on educational innovation.

The campaign underscores the evolving nature of teaching and learning, positioning educators’ insights at the forefront of this evolution. By combining the reach of Google and TED, the project aims to empower teachers to lead educational progress through technology.

Interested educators can explore the featured stories and register for the Idea Workshop to participate in the global idea search. This collaboration marks a significant effort to support and magnify the voices of teachers shaping the future of education through digital innovation.
