NVIDIA invites doctoral students worldwide to apply for its 26th Graduate Fellowship Program, offering up to $60,000 to support research in AI, robotics, HPC, and related fields.

NVIDIA has announced that applications are now open for its 2027–2028 Graduate Fellowship Program, a long-running initiative designed to support exemplary doctoral research aligned with NVIDIA's technology areas. Established in 2002, this program seeks to unite talented graduate students with NVIDIA's leading accelerated computing platforms to foster advances in some of the most challenging research domains.

The fellowship awards grants of up to $60,000 per student, accompanied by mentorship and technical support. It focuses on critical fields including artificial intelligence, machine learning, autonomous vehicles, computer graphics, robotics, healthcare, and high-performance computing. Since its inception, the program has granted over 220 fellowships totaling approximately $8 million.

Applicants must have completed at least one year of their Ph.D. studies by the application deadline, which for the 2027–2028 cycle is October 30, 2026. Additionally, candidates are required to participate in an in-person internship at an NVIDIA research office during the summer of 2027 prior to the fellowship period. This internship aims to integrate fellows within ongoing research efforts and facilitate collaboration.

Prospective applicants can find detailed eligibility criteria and application procedures on the official NVIDIA Graduate Fellowship webpage. By investing in promising doctoral candidates, NVIDIA continues to advance the frontiers of accelerated computing research, ensuring impactful innovations in key technological sectors.
