Designer Bünyamin Aydın’s landmark fashion show in Cappadocia celebrates Turkish culture with innovative design tools including iPad Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, merging heritage with advanced technology.

Turkish designer Bünyamin Aydın has unveiled “From Earth to Sky,” a fashion collection marking 15 years of his Istanbul-based lifestyle brand Les Benjamins. The show uniquely combines traditional Anatolian heritage, 1970s rock influences, and futurism, brought to life through advanced Apple technology.

Set in the striking landscape of Cappadocia’s Rose Valley, the event featured three giant custom-built hot-air balloons alongside ten striking fashion looks inspired by native flowers like Echinops, pink trumpets, and wild yellow tulips. The project concept originated during Aydın’s early 2026 research trip, where he used iPad Pro with Apple Pencil Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max to capture photos and 4K video of the terrain.

Aydın appreciates the iPad Pro’s portability, powerful M5 chip, and extensive battery life, calling it his “ultimate workstation on the go.” He used the Freeform app on the iPad Pro to create mood boards, share evolving ideas with his team, and manage multiple workflows simultaneously in apps like Procreate and Safari. The Apple Pencil Pro’s hover feature and low latency enabled fluid sketching and iterative design, emulating a natural pen-and-paper experience with additional digital precision.

The collection’s distinctive hot-air balloons were designed digitally in collaboration with Cappadocia balloon pioneer Pasha Balloons. Sketches created in Procreate were engineered for real flight and then refined iteratively. Color choices included vibrant neon hues balanced by earth and sky tones, all carefully assessed on the iPad Pro’s Ultra Retina XDR tandem OLED display with True Tone technology.

The show was filmed by French director Neels Castillon using the new iPhone 18 Pro Max. Its 48MP Fusion Main camera with variable aperture allowed dynamic low-light shooting and consistent color grading throughout changing natural lighting. Custom drones equipped with dual iPhone 18 Pro Max units captured high-speed 4K 120 fps footage, enabling cinematic slow-motion and creative motion blur effects. Video was recorded in ProRes RAW for maximum post-production flexibility, while still photos employed Photographic Styles 3 for analog-inspired textures.

All multimedia content was reviewed on-site with a MacBook Pro featuring the M4 Max chip and nano-texture display, enabling precise synchronization of composite drone footage.

“From Earth to Sky” symbolizes Aydın’s role as a cultural bridge between East and West, showcasing Turkish heritage on a global stage through contemporary fashion and cutting-edge technology. The production reflects a deep integration of creative artistry and Apple’s latest devices, highlighting the synergy between traditional inspiration and digital innovation.

The fashion show, captured entirely on iPhone 18 Pro Max, was made available to watch on Apple’s platforms starting October 16, 2026.
