The GAC Toyota joint venture sold 150,000 units of the Toyota bZ3X electric crossover in China since March 2025, marking strong success amid intense market competition. A special Nebula Limited Edition with enhanced features was launched starting at 117,800 yuan (about $16,500).

The Toyota bZ3X electric crossover, marketed in China as the Platinum 3X, has reached a significant sales milestone with 150,000 units delivered to customers within just 1.5 years since its market launch in March 2025. This performance underscores the model’s popularity despite fierce competition in China's electric vehicle segment.

This achievement was announced by the GAC Toyota joint venture, responsible for producing and selling the bZ3X in the region. To commemorate the milestone, Toyota introduced a Nebula Limited Edition variant featuring exclusive styling and upgraded equipment.

Priced from 117,800 yuan (approximately $16,500 or 1.5 million rubles) during a limited-time promotion, the Nebula Limited Edition includes a special Nebula Blue exterior color, unique interior trimming, front seat massage functionality, a premium Yamaha audio system, and 19-inch alloy wheels with a star-shaped design. Notably, this enhanced package, normally costing over 10,000 yuan (~$1,400), is available for an additional 3,000 yuan (~$420) on top of the 520 Pro trim level.

The Toyota bZ3X Nebula Limited Edition is powered by a 204-horsepower electric motor paired with a lithium-iron-phosphate battery pack with a capacity of 58.37 kWh. According to CLTC testing standards, it offers a driving range of up to 520 kilometers.

Physically, the bZ3X measures 4600 mm in length, 1850 mm in width, and 1660 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2765 mm, placing it within the compact crossover SUV category.

The 2026 model year bZ3X lineup debuted in China in May, with the base 430 Air+ trim featuring enhancements such as extended automatic parking capabilities, a Sentry Mode security system, an integrated dashcam, and an external power output function capable of providing up to 6 kW to power external devices from the vehicle’s battery.

Overall, the Toyota bZ3X’s quick accumulation of 150,000 deliveries on the highly competitive Chinese market illustrates the brand’s successful adaptation to local preferences and growing demand for electric vehicles in the region.
