Nothing's CMF brand is set to announce two portable speakers with an unusual design resembling milk cartons, named Speaker S and Speaker M, featuring long battery life and IP54 protection on the larger model.

Technology company Nothing, under its CMF brand, is preparing to enter the portable speaker market with two newly designed products that stand out due to their unique aesthetic. These portable speakers, dubbed Speaker S and Speaker M, are designed to resemble milk cartons, a form factor not previously seen in consumer audio devices.

The company has shared animations and images showcasing the distinct tetra-pak-like design of the speakers, emphasizing the brand's commitment to unconventional device styling. The two models differ primarily in size, with Speaker S being smaller and Speaker M larger, suggesting a potential future lineup that could include even bigger variants.

Details surfaced through an FCC database listing where the devices are identified by their names and approximate size categories. The smaller Speaker S model is equipped with a 2500 mAh battery, offering an estimated 18 hours of continuous use, and weighs approximately 580 grams. The larger Speaker M version promises the same battery life and includes IP54 certification, indicating resistance to dust and water splashes, though its weight has not been disclosed yet.

Nothing has scheduled the official announcement of these products for October 12, 2026. The forthcoming release is expected to bring a fresh design perspective to portable speakers while delivering practical features such as robust battery life and water resistance. Further specifications and pricing details are yet to be revealed.
