Ramp, an expense management platform, raised $1.85 billion at a $60 billion valuation, driven by AI-enhanced financial tools and expanding product offerings including accounting and fraud detection.
Ramp, a financial operations platform known for its expense management solutions, announced a new funding round of $1.85 billion that valued the company at $60 billion, according to a report by TechCrunch on October 15, 2026. This valuation mark arrives less than four months after a previous raise that valued Ramp at $44 billion.
The recent financing was co-led by Dragoneer Investment Group, Thrive Capital, Founders Fund, Sands Capital, and Avenir Growth. Several other prominent investors participated, including Capital International, Fidelity, T. Rowe Price, and Khosla Ventures, among others. To date, Ramp has raised approximately $5 billion in total.
Ramp's annualized revenue has surpassed $2 billion, reflecting significant growth from the $1.5 billion revenue reported in June 2026. The company's revenue growth rate has accelerated by 25% compared to the previous year. Additionally, Ramp's customer base has grown to 85,000 clients from 70,000 during the same period, featuring notable companies such as Visa, Uber, Shopify, Robinhood, and Figma.
Originally focused on expense management, Ramp has expanded its services to encompass payments, fraud detection, procurement, vendor management, and accounting. Integral to this expansion is Ramp's deployment of artificial intelligence. The company integrates AI agents across its financial products to enhance automation and efficiency.
A recent innovation includes the launch of a corporate credit card designed for AI agents, reflecting Ramp’s commitment to supporting AI-driven financial workflows. In August, Ramp also entered the AI model routing market to complement its existing product suite that includes AI token usage monitoring and management tools.
Furthering its AI offerings, Ramp introduced Glass, a collaborative workspace that aggregates and stores AI automations and prompts developed by employees, facilitating shared organizational knowledge and productivity.
Christian Jensen, a Dragoneer partner, highlighted Ramp's rapid development: "Ramp is well on its way to becoming one of the defining companies of this era," underscoring the company's deep AI integration and broadened financial operations platform.
Ramp's strategic shifts position it in competition with other financial service providers such as Rippling, which also extends into corporate cards and expense management. However, Ramp’s leadership sees competition extending into the AI landscape; early investor Keith Rabois expressed ambitions for Ramp to surpass companies like Anthropic by becoming the primary platform for managing and optimizing AI token expenditures.
With its substantial funding and accelerated AI-driven expansion, Ramp is poised to remain a major innovator in the intersection of finance and artificial intelligence.
