OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra Ultrafast is running on NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs and has been integrated into the OpenAI API, accessible to eligible ChatGPT Work and Codex users. Leveraging inference optimizations and the advanced NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, Ultrafast mode delivers token generation speeds up to eight times faster than Astra Standard. This enhancement aims to enable developers to build applications that require rapid language model inference with improved efficiency.
