NVIDIA RTX Spark laptops, now available from major manufacturers, integrate a custom superchip uniting Blackwell RTX GPU, Grace CPU, and up to 128GB unified memory, enabling advanced AI, creative workflows, and gaming on thin, light Windows PCs.
NVIDIA has introduced the RTX Spark line of thin, lightweight Windows laptops designed to meet the diverse needs of developers, creators, and gamers. Available immediately from OEMs including ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft, and MSI, these machines unite an NVIDIA Blackwell RTX GPU and NVIDIA Grace CPU into a single superchip, coupled with up to 128GB of unified memory and delivering up to 1 petaflop of FP4 AI performance. This integration allows users to run demanding AI models locally alongside high-end graphics workloads on portable devices.
Building on decades of NVIDIA innovation, RTX Spark laptops support the CUDA platform, delivering accelerated GPU computing and advanced ray tracing. This combination empowers tasks ranging from editing 8K 4:2:2 video and rendering 3D scenes exceeding 90GB to playing AAA games at high frame rates and resolutions.
Alongside hardware launch, NVIDIA released new software and AI model updates optimized for RTX Spark. One highlight is the Nemotron 3.5 Transcribe model, an open-weight speech processing tool capable of transcription, speaker attribution, translation across 40 languages, and comprehension of meeting decisions—all powered locally and configurable via plain language prompts. Other models in the Liquid AI family support versatile text, audio, and vision tasks for agent workflows such as triaging inboxes and answering complex queries.
Users can also control GPU resource allocation between foreground applications and background AI agents using a new feature in the NVIDIA App, optimizing performance based on current tasks. RTX Spark is supported by various AI agents like Hermes and OpenClaw and integrates closely with creative applications including Adobe Photoshop and Premiere, which are enhanced with native native RTX Spark support through beta releases.
Gamers benefit from real-time ray tracing, NVIDIA DLSS technology including the new DLSS 4.5 and 5 versions, and technologies like Reflex and G-SYNC. The launch title "Phantom Blade Zero" showcases these capabilities with ray-traced effects on RTX Spark laptops. Additionally, the RTX Remix modding platform received an update (version 1.6) enabling Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.1 to run with path tracing and DLSS support on RTX Spark, enhancing lighting and material realism.
The RTX Spark laptop lineup includes devices like the ASUS ProArt, Dell XPS 16, HP OmniBook Ultra, Lenovo Yoga Pro 9n, Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra, and MSI Prestige models, starting at $2,599. These laptops are engineered to deliver workstation-level capabilities in portable form factors as slim as 14mm and weights near three pounds with all-day battery life. As NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang notes, this platform represents a new generation of Windows PCs optimized for current workflows and emerging AI-powered personal agents.
Overall, NVIDIA RTX Spark laptops provide a unified platform that seamlessly blends cutting-edge AI, graphics, and computing performance, unlocking new possibilities for productivity, creativity, and gaming on Windows laptops that can be used anywhere.
