SoundCloud now allows direct publishing of AI-generated music from ElevenLabs, simplifying user workflow and offering Artist Pro subscribers added benefits.

SoundCloud has expanded its integration with AI music platforms by now supporting direct publishing from ElevenLabs. This development allows users to publish AI-generated tracks directly from the ElevenLabs platform to SoundCloud, eliminating the previous need to export music files and upload them separately. The feature streamlines the content creation and sharing process for musicians utilizing generative AI tools.

This integration follows SoundCloud’s earlier partnership with Moises, which enabled users to import tracks from SoundCloud for stem separation and remixing, then republish their works directly back to the platform. Compared to Moises, the ElevenLabs integration is less extensive but still significant, enhancing the convenience for artists working with AI-generated music.

Artist Pro subscribers on SoundCloud gain an additional incentive through this partnership: they receive three months of ElevenMusic Pro for free. This access offers expanded capabilities for experimenting with generative AI music creation.

To maintain transparency with listeners, songs published from ElevenLabs directly to SoundCloud are clearly labeled to reflect their AI origins. SoundCloud has shown a willingness to embrace AI-generated music more openly than many other streaming services. While adhering to regulations in regions like the EU by encouraging AI-generated track labeling and enforcing rules against impersonation, SoundCloud has also avoided the aggressive content removal strategies seen elsewhere.

Overall, this move underscores SoundCloud’s support for innovative music creation techniques and its role as a forward-looking platform for artists exploring artificial intelligence in music.
