Apple’s latest quarterly report shows a 17% increase in iPhone revenue to $57.58 billion, driven by higher-priced Pro models and price hikes on older models, despite no new standard iPhone release during the period.

Apple reported a record-breaking quarter for iPhone sales revenue in its fourth-quarter earnings report, despite not launching a new standard iPhone model during the latest refresh cycle. The company posted $57.58 billion in iPhone revenue, marking a 17 percent increase compared to the same quarter last year, according to The Verge.

This revenue growth followed the September launch of the iPhone 18 lineup, which featured pricier iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models. Apple also increased prices on older iPhone models around the same time. Additionally, Apple unveiled its first folding phone, the iPhone Duo, but its preorder sales were not included in this earnings period due to limited availability.

Apple, like other technology manufacturers, has faced supply chain constraints and increased memory costs, prompting the company to raise prices across its product range. Apple CEO John Ternus highlighted that while memory costs rose compared to the previous quarter, this was partly offset by carrying inventory and reductions in costs for non-memory components.

Beyond iPhones, Apple achieved an overall 12 percent revenue increase to $114.5 billion. The Mac segment grew 24 percent, reaching $10.79 billion in sales, while the services division—including App Store commissions and subscriptions such as Apple TV and Apple Music—generated $31.57 billion. However, iPad revenue declined 10 percent year-over-year to $6.23 billion.

Apple also expanded its product offerings recently, entering the smart home market with its first smart home display and a lineup of video doorbells, security cameras, and door locks developed in partnership with LG and Schneider Electric. Furthermore, Apple introduced a MacBook Pro featuring a touchscreen, marking a notable design shift for the company.

While the new iPhone Duo’s impact on future sales remains to be seen, Apple’s strong financial performance reflects successful positioning of its premium iPhone models and strategic price adjustments during a period of market challenges.
